Some options for eating are La Baracca, The Flavour of India, Shoe Box Cafe, Flock Cafe, The Loft, Banzai Japanese, Earth Oven Pizza and 20,000 Cows – all a short distance away.

In addition, if you love art galleries or live performance check out the Lismore Regional Gallery and our local theatre company NORPA (The Northern Rivers Performing Arts). Both located centrally and offering a brilliant taste of Lismore’s artistic life.

Our local Organic Farmers Market on Tuesday mornings at the Lismore Show Grounds are always worth a visit, as well as the Lismore Car Boot Market at Lismore Shopping Square on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month or the iconic Channon Markets on the 2nd Sunday of each month.

If you’re feeling adventurous while you’re in Lismore you can take a drive around the Mount Warning (Wollumbin) caldera. Wollumbin is the extinct volcano responsible for the rich flora and fauna our area is known for. You can traverse the rim by driving North to Murwillumbah via Bangalow and Mooball, heading west to Uki, south to Kyogle and then back to Lismore. It is about a 3 hour trip full of stunning views, beautiful towns and endless photo opportunities.
